Flavia is a trusted and accomplished commercial and corporate lawyer with extensive experience working in general commercial and transactional advice, corporate law and disputes.

She has acted for many blue-chip multinationals, SME businesses, start-ups, not-for-profits, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals to this date and gathered valuable hands-on business experience working at Commonwealth Bank (as a trusted corporate governance advisor for directors of the bank’s subsidiaries), Lend Lease and Pirelli Group Legal Departments and at a successful IT company.

Flavia also spent 6 years in general private practice before she made her move to Surry Hills.

She has provided sound and effective advice on a variety of industries: retail, hospitality, building and construction, education, IT, insurance, health, marketing, recruitment, franchises and many others.

• LLB, Mackenzie Presbyterian University, Sao Paulo (1995-2000)

• Director and Public Officer of the Australia-Brazil Chamber of Commerce – ABCC, based in Sydney, New South Wales.
• Founder and Managing Director of Star J Consultancy & Ventures – an international services company undertaking international procurement and investment in industries such as IT, agribusiness, entertainment, construction, FMCG, waste and energy and health sector.
• Board and Legal Advisor (since foundation) of Somos21.org.

Portuguese Speaking Lawyer

Flavia is also a well-connected qualified Brazilian Lawyer. She was born and lived in Sao Paulo capital city for 24 years, where she practiced commercial and corporate law at reputable organisations.
She was the first Brazilian female Lawyer to become qualified and practice Law in Australia (dual qualification, English & Portuguese Speaking Lawyer).
